YES-WE-CAN-Defend The Title

Winning a World Cup Trophy is the biggest celebration a cricket playing nation can ever expect from their team. Our Men in Blue headed by the Captain Cool, Mahendra Singh Dhoni knows it well. India started their World Cup journey in style by defeating arch-rivals Pakistan. We also defeated the Proteas  and the aspiring West Indies. Even minnows such as UAE and Ireland were not spared. On the trot to qualify for the quarter-finals, the defending Champions won their eighth match in a row which equals their previous longest Cup streak, established in 2003.

So can Team India change the course of history? Can Dhoni impact the consciousness of a billion dreams? Can our boys defend and cherish World Cup Title? believes that the defending champions can retain the prestigious title and wishes team India a very good luck.

The D-Effect

India is currently riding over a wave of confidence and a lot of confidence comes from the attitude of our Captain Cool, Dhoni. He had to lead team India from the front and no cricketer has ever handled pressure better than MS Dhoni. His presence unites the team and makes the Champion team a good unit going..

Bowling Boys

The world has started taking Indian bowling line-up seriously, thanks to our champions Umesh Yadav, Mohit Sharma, Mohammed Shami and R. Ashwin. Our bowlers have surpassed everyone’s expectations. Shami and Umesh have worked up with great pace and length. Ashwin and Mohit are also bowling and attacking opponents like anything.

Fortune favours the brave and it fits well with our prolific left-handed opener, Shikhar Dhawan. He is quite a gallant warrior of team India. If India wants to cherish its dream to defend the title, Dhawan needs to keep his momentum. He smashed a career-best 137 to propel India to a comfortable win against the Proteas. With a strike rate of 98.2, Dhawan is riding the waves of victory, scoring 333 runs in just five innings.

Virat for Victory

MS Dhoni is leading a team with an aggressive batting line up. India heavily relies on the performance of its batsmen like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rahane and Dhoni himself. Spectacular match winning innings played by Virat Kohli in a crunchy match against Pakistan boost the theory well. History shoes that if Virat performs than no one can snatch World Cup title from the defending champions.

India has got the start

Dhoni’s Team India has been the most immaculate side of the tournament so far. Team India has their arch-rivals in the very first game of the tournament. We are currently on a roll in the tournament as we have practically crushed most of our oppositions. Such has been India’s domination in the tournament that Dhoni’s boys have eclipsed the India record by winning nine straight games in the World Cup, including four matches in the previous edition.

Indian Victory

Great knocks, stealthily bowling, massive catches and stupendous cricketing action by our Men in Blue have raised hopes and the entire nation is geared to witness another historical even, only if it’s possible. Our boys are playing like champions and now the team wants to keep the winning momentum.
