India First: 10 Most Powerful Indian Weapons

“We tested nuclear weapons not to show our manliness or military might but to infuse a sense of safety to our fellow Indians and fear among our enemies that they must think twice before eying on India,” as said by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the then Prime Minister of India on Pokhran II.

Do you know what it takes to safeguard a nation that lies in a dangerous neighborhood with two massive hostile countries, which have gone to war against it in the past? It’s all about your military strength, warfare capabilities and advanced weaponry systems.

India First

With an active force of 1,235,000 personnel and 2,143,000 reserved forces, India has the second largest standing army in the world. Indian Armed Forces guard the entire stretch of 740 kms of the Line of Control (LOC) which is the de facto border between India and Pakistan. LOC is patrolled 24 hours where the night patrols are especially strenuous, almost a mind game, because the brain needs to be alert even when the leafs rustles.
