More than a hundred years prior to this year in the late nineteenth and early twentieth Century numerous women joined the Suffragette movement, wanting to pick up the privilege to vote. These women experienced detainment, yearning strikes, forced nourishing, allegations of dysfunctional behavior. They have gone through such an entire host of misery, mortification, and anguish.
After hundred years, women’s have the right to vote, but they fall prey to regular sexual violence. As you read this blog some woman in some corner of the nation is being a victim of sexual violence. The revolution of feminists continues to demand women to be treated as human beings, but is that possible in a society where some men are worse than animals? Is it possible to stop this demonic activity?
Women’s Day is praised and celebrated on 8th March every year consistently all throughout the world. Even though Individuals now commend the stunning accomplishments that women and young ladies have achieved they are also highlighting the sexual violence that still exists.
Women have been struggling with sexual violence from time immemorial. Even in the ancient scriptures like Mahabharata, there has been recorded evidence of attempted rape and inequality towards women. However, it’s not the duty of a single feminist organization to stand up against such abominable acts; instead it’s the collective efforts of the entire nation.
It’s been a long struggle to attain gender equality and women are still fighting for achieving the same equal status as men. The fact remains headstrong that Women’s Day is not just about women in particular, but about human rights. So here are a few things to follow in respect to all those women that have been imprisoned, raped, murdered, went through torturous processes and fought for equal political representation and freedom from sexual assault .
Don’t Pay heed to the mentally sick:
There are numerous people who make daft comments that totally portray how sick they are mentally. For instance the recent statement of the nirbhaya gang rape convict who blamed the victim for the fatal assault. It is not impossible to find similarly cuckoo people who think that girls get raped because of their own fault. Just don’t pay attention to these people, they are completely out of their mind and deserve to be inside a padded room wearing a straitjacket.
Remember that these demons feed out of your fear, so always be fearless. Let’s face it here; no amount of education can abolish rape, thinking why? Because lust is a powerful force and mere education cannot help anyone deal with it. Like I said earlier, Rape was there even in ancient times, practically there is nothing anyone can do to stop it coz, when lust takes over, these rapists completely lose it. Every day a new rape case springs up somehow or the other. Recently a man was beaten to death for raping a girl, but did that help? No! Again, in the headlines comes another rape case, this time it was a six- year old girl. So, always stay protected and take precautions without fail. Buy weapons and anti rape products that are easily available online. Purchase pepper spray, tazers, etc. and always keep them with you. It’s a do or die situation, its either you be a victim of sexual violence or you show them what you are really made of. Nobody messes with you and gets away with it. If possible learn martial arts, this will surely make you feel confident and fearless.
Be a Creative Tornado:
Create art, start a blog or do anything to catch the attention of the general public and politicians. Figure out a way to do publicity and make them understand that women are not weak, they are not to be used as an object of enjoyment and they are never going to give up. Re invent and re-energize creative ways to reach out in order make them understand that you are in the same terms as men and you are not burning out until any progress is made.
Don’t fail to keep in mind that men do understand your issues of inequality History has seen many great personalities and they have fought for the equal rights of women. Some men are there for your rights and help you face the challenge that appears to extend ahead obstinately.
